L'huile VDS-4.5 15W40 est une huile moteur pour usage intensif dotée d'une formulation spécifique qui intègre des additifs exclusifs. Il est recommandé de l'utiliser dans les moteurs diesel modernes indépendamment des conditions de fonctionnement et du type d'environnement. Elle est donc parfaitement compatible avec tous les moteurs Volvo Penta lubrifiés jusqu'alors avec les huiles VDS-2, VDS-3 ou VDS-4. Elle est également recommandée pour certains moteurs à essence.
