What is a catalyzed manifold gasket?

The catalyzed manifold gasket seals the junction between the cylinder head and the catalytic exhaust manifold. It ensures no exhaust gases escape before being treated, optimizing emission reduction.

When should it be replaced?

Soot marks, exhaust noise, or gas leaks indicate a damaged gasket. Always replace during maintenance of the catalytic manifold.
