DAM Marine offers a selection of ignition beams for all your different Indmar, PCM, Crusader, Chris-Craft, Johnson - Evinrude, WTO, Volvo Penta & Mercury Mercruiser.

To easily find the ignition beam you need, do not hesitate to use the various filters available to the left of your screen.

What's the ignition beam for?

The ignition beam is the component that generates the spark needed for the ignition and operation of the engine.

There are two types of cables: one from the candle dispenser and the other from the coil to the distributor.

If the candle wires are damaged, it is essential to replace them to avoid:

- problems with sensors or control blocks

- high consumption due to leaking currents that prevents the correct production of the spark, thus causing incomplete combustion.

- the deformation of the caps or candle wire, due to long journeys or high engine temperatures.

- a fire risk in the absence of adequate flame retardant treatment

- low corrosion resistance, chemicals and temperature
