Hull Anodes for Boats

Cathodic Protection Against Marine Corrosion

What is a hull anode?

A hull anode is a sacrificial metal piece attached to the underwater part of a boat. It absorbs corrosion in place of the boat's metal components, such as the hull, propeller, shaft, and rudder.

When should it be replaced?

Replace the anode when it is more than 50% consumed. Check every 6 to 12 months depending on water type (salt, fresh, or brackish).

Choose the right material

DAM Marine offers hull anodes in zinc (saltwater), aluminum (all water types), and magnesium (freshwater) for optimal protection.
