MAP air intake sensor present on the intake manifold of multi-point injection engines.
The role of the MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor is to measure the air intake pressure as air enters the engine. It will then transmit this information to the engine control unit. The latter can then adjust the amount of fuel injected.
