Propeller Shaft End Anodes for Boats

Terminal Corrosion Protection for Shaft Ends

What is a shaft end anode?

A shaft end anode is a sacrificial anode mounted at the end of the propeller shaft. It prevents electrolytic corrosion from attacking the exposed tip of the shaft.

When should it be replaced?

Replace it when more than 50% consumed. Inspect during haul-outs or routine annual maintenance.

Marine-grade materials and compatibility

DAM Marine offers shaft end anodes in zinc, aluminum, or magnesium, compatible with various shaft diameters and mounting systems (threaded or pinned).
