The function of the TPS sensor

The TPS sensor (Throttle Position Sensor) monitors the position of the throttle valve. It sends data to the ECU to manage fuel injection and ensure a smooth, responsive engine.

Signs of a faulty TPS

Jerky acceleration, idle issues, or loss of power may indicate a failing TPS. Replacing it restores engine precision and throttle control while boating.
