The Yamaha 250aetox - 2003 is a 250 HP 2-stroke outboard engine. Its 76° V6 configuration has a displacement of 3,130 cm³, with a 90.0 mm bore and an 82.0 mm stroke. The specified full-throttle operating range is between 4,500 and 5,500 rpm.

Fuel delivery is managed by electronic fuel injection, combined with a microcomputer-controlled CDI ignition system. The engine also features electric starting, remote control operation and a power trim and tilt system for adjusting its angle during use.
