What is a Vetus anti-siphon elbow?

The Vetus anti-siphon elbow prevents water backflow into the engine by breaking the siphon effect when the engine is shut off. It is essential in marine exhaust or cooling systems to protect the engine from flooding.

When should it be replaced?

Replace it if cracks, internal wear, clogging, or valve failure are detected. Annual inspection is recommended for continued protection.

Compatible with Vetus systems

ANTI-SIPHON ELBOW TYPE ASD 13/19/25/32 MM WITH VALVE

RÉF. ASDV | VETUS

Anti-siphon elbow without valve and with hose. Supplied with ventilation pipe, connection 13 - 32 mm.

Can be used as a drainage system or toilet.

Interchangeable with the AIRVENT type and have the same fixing center distances.

Comes complete with fitting, hose clamps and 2m of hose. Non-valve anti-siphon elbows must be fitted with a ventilation pipe.

The air vent fitting rotates 360°. (Includes a 2 m hose and skin fittings). In addition, the valve can be serviced without removing the vent from the wall and no tools are required for this. For replacement, a set of 5 valves is available as a spare part.

A 13 mm diameter flexible hose can be directly connected to the elbow connections

Can be connected to pipes with inner diameters of 13, 19, 25 and 32 mm.

Anti-siphon elbow with valve and hose. With 4m of 8 x 14mm ventilation hose, suitable for 38mm pipes. Ideal for toilets or holding tanks installed below the waterline.

Interchangeable with AIRVENT type thanks to the same fixing hole centers.

The air bleed fitting rotates 360°. (Includes 2m hose and skin fittings)

A 38 mm diameter flexible hose can be connected directly to the elbow connections. Mount each hose connection with a stainless steel clamp.
