Vertical Marine Exhaust Silencer with Compact Design

What is an LP-type waterlock?

The LP-type waterlock is a vertically mounted exhaust silencer for marine engines. It reduces exhaust noise and prevents seawater from backflowing into the engine. Its compact shape makes it ideal for tight engine compartments.

When should it be replaced?

Signs like leaks, cracks, or internal corrosion indicate it’s time to replace it. Recommended every 5–7 years as preventive maintenance.

Marine-ready build

DAM Marine offers LP waterlocks in composite or marine-grade plastic, designed to resist heat, saltwater, and vibration. Compatible with most marine engine exhaust configurations.
