What is an anode kit?

An anode kit includes all the sacrificial anodes needed to protect a marine engine or drive system. It typically contains engine block anodes, propeller shaft, drive and trim tab anodes, depending on the application.

When should the kit be replaced?

Replace when anodes are over 50% consumed. Kits are usually changed during annual maintenance or haul-outs.

Compatibility and materials
