These hatches feature a hand polished and anodized aluminum frame with a 32 or 55mm corner radius and a 10mm dark colored acrylic cover.

The deck hatches and escape hatches come with adjustment devices to hold the cover open at almost any angle up to 90º.

A special friction hinge allows the ventilation hatches to stay open at any angle up to 180º.

Escape hatches - Type MAGNUS (AI)

MAGNUS hatches have a satin anodized profile frame with 10mm thick “dark smoke” colored acrylic and are designed for offshore use, Design Category A, Zone I.

These hatches can be opened from the inside or outside and can remain open at any angle up to 180º with almost no obstruction in the opening.

They have a ventilation position and can be locked completely tightly.

The application on habitable multihulls as a means of evacuation in an inverted position is subject to European legislation.

Warning :

VETUS strongly advises against installing a MAGNUS AI panel below deck level in areas where (temporary) immersion may occur. When installing a panel below deck, always pay special attention to the base area, as hull flexing will compromise the watertightness of any panel.

These hatches feature a satin anodized aluminum frame with a 75mm corner radius and a 10mm dark smoke acrylic cover.

A friction hinge allows the hatches to stay open at

any angle up to 180º.

The PLANUS type is suitable for design category A, zone II.

Deck hatch - The FGHF series is specially designed for new boats.

Suitable for new builds as it is necessary to provide a hatch in the deck. After installing the FGHF, the hatch is completely recessed into the deck, creating a smooth, flush appearance.

The FGHF series is distinguished by its fully flush bolts and handles. Designed larger, they are equipped with a grip in the handle so that they can be opened from the outside using a winch handle.

The FGHF (AII Device Location Area) series is available in four sizes.

Made from 12mm thick 'dark smoke' acrylic with a maintenance-free polished and anodised aluminium frame.

These round windows with removable double glazing are designed for river boats, which offer particularly comfortable and space-efficient accommodation. The round design of the opening portholes perfectly matches the look of these authentic boats.

The fully double-glazed window is easy to clean and offers a clear view. The ergonomic VETUS clamps firmly press the window into the rubber seal, making this window suitable for Zone III locations. When these clamps are unlocked, the porthole tilts slightly backward at the clamping points to allow a small amount of air to enter (ventilation position).

The polished, anodized aluminum frame is both stylish and maintenance-free. Its appearance is identical to our standard window frames to maintain uniformity throughout the boat.

The WPANEL panel can control up to 5 wiper motors to operate synchronously at high or low speed.

Each wiper motor is switched individually, so you can choose which wipers are operational.

They also have a combination switch for washing/wiping screen activation, speed selection and wiping interval delay. The wiper motors to be connected must have a 2-speed motor and an automatic parking position.

Up to three MARBO rain sensors (1 x MARBO and 2 x MARBO2) can be connected to the control unit. The rain sensor function can be activated by the

control panel provided and can activate all connected wipers simultaneously.

The WPANEL type comes with:

• 1 control box with electronic overload protection (DIN rail mounting).

• 5 wiper motor switches.

• 1 combination switch for washing/wiping and speed selection.

• 1 mounting plate with space for 6 switches and 2 plates.
