Deck hatches - Type MAGNUS (AI)

MAGNUS hatches have a satin anodized profile frame with 10mm thick “dark smoke†colored acrylic and are designed for offshore use, Design Category A, Zone I.

These hatches can be opened from the inside or outside and can remain open at any angle up to 180º with almost no obstruction in the opening.

They have a ventilation position and can be locked completely tightly.

The application on habitable multihulls as a means of evacuation in an inverted position is subject to European legislation.

Warning :

VETUS strongly advises against installing a MAGNUS AI panel below deck level in areas where (temporary) immersion may occur. When installing a panel below deck, always pay special attention to the base area, as hull flexing will compromise the watertightness of any panel.

Deck hatches - Type PLANUS (AII)

These hatches feature a satin anodized aluminum frame with a 75mm corner radius and a 10mm dark smoke acrylic cover.

A friction hinge allows the hatches to stay open at

any angle up to 180º.

The PLANUS type is suitable for design category A, zone II.

Escape hatch - The FGH series is specially designed for new boats.

Suitable for new builds as it is necessary to provide a hatch in the deck. After installing the FGH, the hatch is completely recessed into the deck, creating a smooth, flush appearance.

The FGH (AII Device Location Area) series is available in six sizes.

Made from 12mm thick 'dark smoke' acrylic with a maintenance-free polished and anodised aluminium frame.

These white synthetic trims are designed to cover the space between the hatch and the inside face of the boat.

The frame depth can be cut to size to fit any wall thickness up to 50mm.

The integrated, hinged mosquito net can be easily removed for easy cleaning.

The HMB series is both a mosquito net and a roller blind.

This blind and screen combination is designed specifically for escape and ventilation deck hatches.

The sleek, push-to-focus design to maximize vision has modified hooks for durability and strong, easy-to-reach adjustable springs for manually resetting screen tension.

A blind and an automatic roller mosquito net are located on either side.

Alternatively, by pushing the handle in the opposite direction, the blind retracts and the mosquito net covers the opening.

The separation of the magnetic clasp in the handles allows the blind and mosquito net to automatically retract into their housings.

All parts of the case are made of off-white powder coated aluminum and will therefore last for years without fading.

The blind and mosquito net are made from a UV stabilized gray PVC coated material.

An easy-to-install finishing strip can be cut to size and covers deck openings up to 75mm thick.

The HMB series is designed for hatches with corner radii of 43 mm or less.

Ultra-thin portholes - Type PW

The PW series portholes are so flush that they resemble fritted glass and are suitable for installation in

a variety of materials.

Despite their low thickness, they are still CE approved for the AI location area, which means they can be used for all areas listed in the ISO standard! A very flat aluminum edge combined with the clamping mechanism ensures a very low-profile porthole even when mounted in the glass itself. They are also equipped with the new ergonomic buttons.

These ultra-thin portholes can accept panel thicknesses ranging from 2 to 20 mm. The inside of the clamping profile can be finished with the supplied trim. All

PW portholes are fashionable satin black anodized with 10mm thick "black smoke" tinted acrylic for a premium look.
