This side-mounted engine control can be used with mechanically controlled engines from 12 to 110 hp. The AFSTZIJ should be mounted within reach of the vessel's helm, on the port or starboard side.

The mechanical part of the lever is made of painted zinc, finished with a plastic housing and an ergonomic rubber grip. The AFSTZIJ operates with push/pull cables and has a built-in safety mechanism to protect the transmission. The clutch can only be engaged at idle. The AFSTZIJ is the ideal motor for sailing boats. (Without neutral safety switch).
