Engines before 2008 with a plastic timing cover (casting #090) being removed from production, the replacement is now made by a V6 vortec engine with a reworked aluminum timing cover to recover the signal from the CPS sensor and therefore the correct information for injection without heavy modification of the engine harness for example.
