What is a marine coolant fluid for?

Coolant fluid is used to regulate engine temperature, prevent overheating, and protect against freezing and corrosion. It is essential in inboard engines or closed cooling systems.

How is it different from water?

Unlike water, coolant contains antifreeze and anti-corrosion additives. It extends the life of your engine components, especially in marine environments.

When should coolant be replaced?

Change it every 1–2 years depending on the manufacturer. Old coolant can become corrosive and damage exchangers, pumps, and circuits.
