The Maxwell 2500 Series Retractable Vertical Capstan (RVC) is designed for exceptional functionality. The RVC is an excellent solution for: clear forward decks on high-performance sailboats, trip-free cockpits on sportfishing boats, amidships capstans with clear companionways, or hidden line handling on classic motor yachts. This makes it an excellent option for freeing up deck space.
It was designed to retract flush with the deck. It is constructed entirely of stainless steel (AISI 316).
Robust design with environmental protection to withstand regular immersion on high-performance sailboat installations.

Also available in DC (12 VDC / 24 VDC / 48 VDC) and hydraulic version.
